Armaclad Now Hosting Lead Certified Training
Armaclad Windows & Doors will host Renovation Repair & Painting Lead Certified Training by the National Center for Healthy Housing every third Wednesday from April through June. The EPA has set April 22nd, 2010 as the official start date for all organizations intending to do work in any pre-1978 house that test positive for lead. To be in compliance and avoid fines of up to $37,500, here are the requirements:
- Your company must be EPA certified to follow lead safe work practices
- Your company must use certified renovators who have completed an 8 hour accredited class and exam
- Your non-certified workers/installers must have received on-the-job training in lead safe work practices and be supervised by a certified renovator
- Your company must adhere to all lead safe work practices and all record keeping as required by the rule
- Your company must educate the owners/occupants with the Renovate Right pamphlet

New Warehouse
Announcing the Grand Opening of Armaclad’s new Bensenville, Illinois warehouse! The Bensenville warehouse was opened to facilitate easier pick up for dealers located outside of Chicago. The warehouse is located at 361 Country Club Dr, Bensenville, IL 60106. Hours are 7am - 2pm for dealer convenience.
